Elizabeth Mesok has worked as a consultant in the field of gender, security, and peacebuilding since 2019. She has worked for Swedish International Development Agency (SIDA), focusing on conflict sensitivity in relationship to sexual and reproductive health and LGBTQI rights, as well as conducting assessments on gender mainstreaming among SIDA’s partners.
In addition to research consultancies, Mesok has been invited to give trainings on gender, peace and security for the North Atlantic Trade Organization (NATO) in Brussels, Belgium; the European University Institute’s School of Transnational Governance, in Madrid Spain and Florence, Italy; and the Civilian Peacebuilding Essentials Program for swisspeace, in Basel Switzerland.
